This year, we are setting a very special challenge for any Verwood schoolchildren aged 3 to 11 years old ; a Summer Scavenger Hunt!

Collect a paper bag and tick sheet of things to find from the Verwood Library and go hunting.  There are 40 different things to find and put in your paper bag...tick them off as you go, and be imaginative about what and where to find all the bits of summer treasure!

When you've finished, decorate your paper bag in any way you like, and drop off all your bits to the Verwood Horticultural Show on Saturday 12 September between 8.30 and 11am. 

When you drop off you will be given a raffle ticket for a prize draw during our prize-giving at 4pm. 

The bags will be displayed to the public throughout the show between 1pm and 4pm.  If you wish, you can collect your bag after prize giving around 4.45pm.

How to enter?

1. Collect your paper bag and scavenger list from Verwood Library

2. Decorate your bag.

3. Find as many of the 40 things as possible and tick them off your list.

4. Bring your full bag to the Verwood Autumn Horticultural Show at the Memorial Hall between 8.30 and 11am.

5. Collect your raffle ticket to be entered in the prize draw.
