To celebrate 80 years of VDHS, we’re bringing the community together for a special Wildflower Planting Day!   

 

We’ll be planting English bluebells, snowdrops, cowslips, primroses and native wildflowers in carefully chosen areas around Verwood.

• More food for early pollinators

• More habitat for wildlife

An opportunity to bring our community together

With funding from Verwood Solar Farm, and support from Dorset Council and Verwood Town Council, we’ll be creating beautiful pockets of wildflowers across the town for everyone to enjoy.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you can spare an hour or several, come along and help us plant something beautiful for the future.

Come on your own, with family, friends or colleagues — groups are very welcome!
