We had a great turn out for our plant sale on Saturday morning with a wide range of perennials, shrubs, annuals and vegetables donated by our members.  This was the first plant sale since before the pandemic, so it was great to see so many people out supporting the event.  When the doors opened to the public at 10am, there was an initial rush to browse the plants on offer!

Not only did we have our 3 main plant stalls, but also had takings from our donations table (magazines, seeds, jigsaws etc) and from the bacon rolls and refreshments on offer.

We also had a some children in to sow their entries in the Great Verwood Grow Off, and a few people who asked about joining the Society.

Overall sales of £298 gave us a profit of a little over £228!
